It had been over 6 months since Randy or myself had been back in Canada. And as much as we love living in Bermuda and do consider it our home we had missed Canada. Missed being able to drive for hours on end with the windows down and the radio blaring, being able to walk from Randy’s parents house to visit his grandparents, being able to see friends, and missed being able to purchase fresh fruit that was actually fresh.

The first few days of our vacation were spent up north at my families cottage. We were so glad that Randy’s parents were able to come for a night as well as his brother who came with his girlfriend. My goal of this vacation was to not do any work and to simply relax, and I can happily say that is exactly what I did!
