It’s here! Tomorrow is the day!!

It all seems so surreal.
I remember the first time we met. I was beyond nervous to be meeting Randy’s family for the first time. You were 15 (maybe not even yet) and excited about piano, soccer and track and field. I loved getting to know you! And then I started hanging around the house more, as Randy and I began to get more serious. And you became more to me than Randy’s little sister, but you became my friend. It was Randy’s first summer working at the coast guard that I truly got to know everyone. I mean, it happens pretty quick when you’re going over to your boyfriends house maybe 3 times a week and he isn’t there. You and everyone else became my family.

And fast forward to two years later when you stood beside me as not just my bridesmaid but as my sister (in-law but more so a sister) and greatest friends. Leah, you have come so far from when I met you four years ago. You have matured far beyond your years and have really come to know who you are. Randy and I are so proud of you.
And tomorrow, Saturday August 9th 2014 we can not wait to stand beside YOU as you and Steve join together as husband and wife!

So, Leah and Steve, we wish you an incredible wedding day! But pray that you have an even more beautiful marriage that always keeps Christ at the centre! Enjoy your big day and your honeymoon!! We’ll be waiting for you when you get back so that we can hangout (hopefully soon again in person!) or Skype and be old married people together!!
