When I spoke to Helen on the phone discussing details of their wedding, I knew it was going to be beautiful. Their plan was to keep it small, inviting only the closest of friends and family. They didn’t want the “traditional” wedding, and so were married on a sail boat out in paradise lakes! Instead of a wedding cake there was a wedding tiramisu, and instead of a lengthy allotted time for photographs of the bride and groom they asked if we could keep it to 15 minutes so they could spend more time with their guests!

The reception was hosted at the most beautiful property that over looked the south shore, and I really don’t think you could have asked for a more perfect backdrop! As guests arrived, they were greeted with a drink and it was so evident that everyone there was family (and if they weren’t you couldn’t tell!). I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the reception and how obvious it was that everyone was truly enjoying themselves!

This ring was given to Helen by her mother, and the veil by her Mother-in-Law! Love it!
