For as long as I can remember, every summer when my Dad would take his summer vacations he would always get a doctor to come and cover his practice. I was never able to get to know these doctors or their families as I was always away on vacation as well. But the summer of 2013 was both the summer that Randy and I made Bermuda our home and the summer that I finally got to know the doctor covering for my Dad. Ayaz, or Dr.Ramji as many of you will know him as if you frequent Wee Care Pediatrics, always brings guests. To be more specific he brings his good friend Malcolm, and his sister, Shel, who then brings her two sons, Z and Nadim. We absolutely loved getting to know them that summer, spending afternoons by the pool, family dinners around the patio table and being introduced to the Friday night Fish Fry.
And then this summer we were able to spend another few weeks with everyone as they stayed at my parents house again. (And Shel brought her husband this time around which was so great!) I just love when they all come to visit, because Randy and I are automatically treated like family. We are “expected” to be at dinners each night and are missed if we are unable to make it. Seriously, this family is way too kind to us! They definitely spoil us!
So, as a token of our appreciation I decided to capture Shel and her family’s time spent in Bermuda and we headed down to Stonehole Bay on the most beautiful Labour day evening for a family session!
