I always hate when the weather forecast predicts rain during scheduled family sessions. However I absolutely love it when that prediction is wrong and we are able to proceed with the family session as scheduled, with beautiful (humid!) weather.
When Alex first emailed me to set up her family session, I knew that this was going to be a great session! Her kindness exuded throughout her email back and forth, and that same kindness was represented within her entire family! I felt as if I was hanging out with old friends (this has been happening more often then not lately and I love it!). We had planned for their family session to be at least two weeks following the birth of the newest addition to the family, Charlotte! However, Charlotte had other plans, and we pushed the session back – in hopes that Charlotte would arrive within that week! Thankfully she did and she was the perfect 10 days old for her family session! Her big sister Harper was such a joy! Posing, cooperating and smiling for the camera! This little one loves life and it is so obvious!
Gibbons family, I thoroughly enjoyed spending the afternoon with all of you, and I truly hope you enjoy these photographs of your family! Oh, and I think it’s safe to say that we were successful in capturing your 2014 Christmas card photograph!! Enjoy!
Alex, this is gorgeous! Is she not the cutest!?
