Dear Momma,
Today we celebrate you, my mom, my best friend, my everything. We celebrate the incredible woman that you are and always have been. I’ve come to learn that there really is no bond quite like that between mother and child. Because you know me in ways no one ever will. You also see in me all the things I can still become and continue pushing me to strive towards my dreams, no matter how crazy they may be. You never once doubted my ability to become a photographer and encouraged me every step of the way. For that I know you are my biggest fan. But you are also my mentor, my secret-keeper, and the person I called at least once a day (every day) when I was away at University. The comfort that comes from our friendship, the confidence that your faith in me instills, and your unquestioning support of whatever I do, is irreplaceable. The kind of there-for-me that you are is the very essence of what makes you a great mother.
I am so blessed to have you in my life. You are truly the most loving, thoughtful, compassionate woman that I know. I love that you love your family so selflessly and love Randy as if he were your own son. You make me want to be a better woman and one day I hope I can be half the mother you are to both Chris, Randy, and myself.
Thank you for always, always being at my side and having my back. There will never be a day in my life when I won’t need you. I’m here for you too. Please remember that.
