This is such a strange and exciting post to write. It’s exciting because there are HUGE changes happening for Sarah E Photography… but it’s also strange because 2 years ago, I never saw this coming….ever. We were engaged, and both finishing up our University degrees. We had explored all of the options for our future, and finally decided upon moving back to Bermuda! So, I started marketing Sarah E Photography to anyone and everyone. At first, it was a few family sessions here and there and then life started to change. My business was booming…and I’m SO thankful, but what that meant was that I was gone… A LOT. From working full time at Wee Care Pediatrics, to then photographing 4+ families on the weekends. And then once I was home, I wasn’t really there, as my mind was constantly checking off my many to-do lists and I was editing sessions, managing the blog, emails, etc.

I think we both knew something needed to change – I was exhausted almost all of the time, and I think Randy was exhausted just watching me. And then with the summer of 2015 and over 20 family sessions scheduled and 5 weddings, I knew I needed help. I needed someone who loved to serve people.. who enjoyed second shooting… someone who would love to spend an entire Saturday with me, and someone who believed in my dreams for this business and would help me accomplish big goals. I’m not sure how it exactly happened but when I felt all out of options, Randy offered to step in and fill that role. He offered to learn, and he started reading everything he could. He started asking questions, and critiquing his own work, and the images he captured on wedding days were absolutely stunning!

After photographing two weddings together, I know that this was the best decision for Sarah E Photography. Randy has such an eye for composition and detail. He captures those little moments that I might have otherwise missed. I can guarantee you there is a hair out of place, Randy will fix it. Plus, he’s the most caring and genuine man I know.

So, we’re a husband and wife team… a package deal if you will! We’re excited to spend weekends TOGETHER and to take this business to the next level.
