This summer was our first summer getting back into photographing weddings full time, and friends, my heart is SO full! From photographing almost every wedding with Randy by my side to working with some of the most incredible couples, we truly could not have asked for a more perfect season. As we were leading up to each wedding, I was really thinking about how much there is to plan and prepare – and how much I loved planning for my own wedding! And I absolutely love gifting my couples with “The Wedding Experience Guide” (just one of the surprises that comes with being a #sarahebride!) to help them better prepare for their big day. Yet, over the last few months, I’ve been getting more and more emails containing more and more questions – which leads me to this new series!

There are a lot of things I’ve learned through trial and error, and a lot of things I’ve had to learn on my own, outside the realm of school. I want to share with you what I didn’t know while I was planning our wedding, and some insider tips that I know now as a wedding photographer!
