All day the weather was unpredictable. The skies were gray, but there was no rain. It was one of those days where you just didn’t want to re-schedule in the off-chance that the sun would pop out for just an hour long family session! Luckily for us the sun did make an appearance and we had the absolute best light for their family session on Grape Bay! I absolutely love photographing at Grape Bay, especially when the tide is low, as it reveals the rocks on the sand! It just gives such variety for portraits!

The Carretta family were an absolute joy to photograph! And our hour spent together felt as if it flew by, as they were so easy to chat with and get to know! They brought along their dog Mystic, and she was so well behaved! As the Carretta family prepares for the arrival of the arrival of their newest addition in the New Year, it was so wonderful to be able to capture these moments still as a family of three!
