There is truly nothing sweeter than a family welcoming their first child! Rose & James welcomed Baby Nellie on December 21st, which, in my opinion is an excellent birthday to have! And, it may or may not be my birthday also! The timing worked perfectly to schedule an in-home newborn portrait session with this family of three!

It’s no secret, that I absolutely adore starting off newborn sessions with family portraits – especially those including mom & dad alone with their little one! We were lucky enough with our timing that Rose’s family was visiting, and so not only were we able to have portraits with mom, dad and Baby Nellie, but also portraits of Nellie with her grandparents, and great-grandparents! Oh, Nellie is so loved already and I love capturing this!

Family is the most beautiful thing, and these three got to be one just in time for Christmas!
