Around Christmas time I received an email from Tom asking if he could purchase a gift certificate for a family session, to surprise Barbs with! I absolutely love when this is done, as, in my session, photography is the best gift!! However, around that same time, Barbs had mentioned how she needed to contact me to schedule their next family session as it had been a few years since the last one! AH! Tom had DEFINITELY chosen the perfect Christmas present for Barbs!

We arranged their family session for an early Saturday morning in February – and thankfully the rain held off! The Sperryn-Jones family have recently moved so we thought it would be nice to photograph their session at home! And it was the very best idea! Not only were both Emily & Euan comfortable being able to play where they are used to playing – their home is right on the water overlooking the sound, which made for the most BEAUTIFUL portraits!
